"Uno, dos, tres, quatro!" Springsteen said fans have been getting "sassy" with their signs by requesting songs they hadn't played for years. He said this was a very "creative" sign. I didn't get a good shot of it, but it had an illustration of a bull above the song title. The crowd really loved it & sang along loudly.

Daisy on ear and mic in hand Bruce crowd surfs to the outreached hand of Jake Clemons on stage who never misses a note on his saxophone solo at 0:32s. Bruce counts the start of 'Out in the Street' and delivers some passionate vocals eventually moving to the runway stage right to give us a smile directly for the camera at 6:05s. Steve Van Zandt notices a sign in the audience and points and smiles remembering the bomb scare at Milwaukee's Uptown Theater at a young Bruce Springsteen show over forty years ago on October 2, 1975. The sign 'R U Loose? I was there 10/2/75. ' was all it took at 4:10 s. http://www.jsonline.com/greensheet/re...
Club atmosphere seeing most of the band crowded around a single microphone delivering vocal harmonies 6:43s. Wow!

Bruce Springsteen takes the stage with the house lights up to soak up energy from fans to charge up for the nearly 3.5 hour show to come. The band played the entire 'The River ' album and many more classic anthems spanning from his lengthy career - like two shows in one night. Bruce did his part to help tear the place down this night!

Lyrics:
Through the winter’s ice and cold
Down Nicollet Avenue
A city aflame fought fire and ice
‘Neath an occupier’s boots
King Trump’s private army from the DHS
Guns belted to their coats
Came to Minneapolis to enforce the law
Or so their story goes
Against smoke and rubber bullets
By the dawn’s early light
Citizens stood for justice
Their voices ringing through the night
And there were bloody footprints
Where mercy should have stood
And two dead left to die on snow-filled streets
Alex Pretti and Renee Good
Oh our Minneapolis, I hear your voice
Singing through the bloody mist
We’ll take our stand for this land
And the stranger in our midst
Here in our home they killed and roamed
In the winter of ’26
We’ll remember the names of those who died
On the streets of Minneapolis
Trump’s federal thugs beat up on
His face and his chest
Then we heard the gunshots
And Alex Pretti lay in the snow, dead
Their claim was self defense, sir
Just don’t believe your eyes
It’s our blood and bones
And these whistles and phones
Against Miller and Noem’s dirty lies
Oh our Minneapolis, I hear your voice
Crying through the bloody mist
We’ll remember the names of those who died
On the streets of Minneapolis
Now they say they’re here to uphold the law
But they trample on our rights
If your skin is black or brown my friend
You can be questioned or deported on sight
In chants of ICE out now
Our city’s heart and soul persists
Through broken glass and bloody tears
On the streets of Minneapolis
Oh our Minneapolis, I hear your voice
Singing through the bloody mist
Here in our home they killed and roamed
In the winter of ’26
We’ll take our stand for this land
And the stranger in our midst
We’ll remember the names of those who died
On the streets of Minneapolis
We’ll remember the names of those who died
On the streets of Minneapolis

Ahead of Bruce Springsteen's Fiserv Forum show in Milwaukee in March 2023, Ticketmaster is practicing a concept known as price fencing, where fans pre-register just for the opportunity to buy a ticket, providing a real-time look at demand and allowing Ticketmaster to then decide what the price is. https://bit.ly/3cJdWO6 #brucespringsteen #ticketmaster #milwaukee

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Tour: Born to Run
Date: October 2nd, 1975
Venue: Uptown Theatre
City: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
Audio Quality: B-/A
Attendance: ca. 1,500
Bruce's first ever appearance in Wisconsin is the famous 'bomb scare show'. Just 45 minutes into the concert a bomb threat is phoned in to the theatre, and the night's MC Bob Reitman (disc jockey for WQFM) is forced to enter the stage after "Thunder Road" (which is the slow version featuring Roy on piano and Bruce on harmonica and vocals) to inform the crowd of the threat, asking them to return in three hours time. The police search the theatre and find no bomb, so the band return at midnight for another two hours on stage. Bruce and the boys passed the time during the delay in a nearby bar (according to Bruce, the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee) and as the show gets back underway it's evident that Bruce has had a few drinks - repeatedly and hilariously asking the audience "are you loose?!" during an outrageous "Little Queenie" (the first circulating version of this song with the E Street Band - see our Media tab to hear it). There is also an exceptionally long rendition of "The E Street Shuffle" that includes a 14-minute introduction and "Having A Party" in the outro. "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)" includes the "Come A Little Bit Closer" intro and a snippet of "Theme From Shaft" in the midsection. See our News tab to read a pair of news articles with a little more detail about the events.

Jake Clemons sets a new standard for silky smooth footwork and saxophone solo delivery. Bruce’s rhythmic sounds with close-ups of his Fender Telecaster guitar 1:50 s and center stage band butt wiggle end a raucous version of ‘Ramrod’. After a lightning fast switch to the twelve string Telecaster, a seasoned Bruce adds more passionate and meaningful vocal deliveries at the center stage mic than ever before on ‘The Price You Pay’ from ‘The River’ album.
