This is a pretty easy tutorial where I show how to make a giant jellyfish out of clear packaging tape. So let's bring a mystery to our homes with this deep ocean room decor. To male it you will need a regular round shaped balloon and one long modelling balloon. Also you will need a clear wide tape (wide – to make the process faster, but you can use any size of clear tape), food wrap (plastic wrap) and a string of LED lights. Giant Phantom Jellyfish Spotted The giant phantom jellyfish (Stygiomedusa gigantea) was captured as it was serenely floating — its long, velvety "mouth-arms" trailing around it — at a depth of 3,200 feet (975 meters) by marine biologists from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). This is one of only nine times that MBARI scientists have spotted the elusive creature across the institute’s many thousands of submarine dives. "The giant phantom jelly was first collected in 1899. We soak up the sun on a perfect beach vacation, but things take an unexpected turn when someone gets stung by a jellyfish. Despite the sting, we continue to enjoy the beautiful aruba island and all its tropical travel wonders. 🏖️ stung by a jellyfish in aruba 🇦🇼 We are on Day #6 of our Oasis of the Seas parents only cruise adventure. We were so excited for these 2 ports, The first one is Aruba and it was AMAZING! We went to the De Palm Island and Snorkeled, ate food and explored around the island. It did rain a little but we didn't let that ruin our time! We had a blast. Next we headed to the Beautiful island of Curacao! It has the bluest waters I have ever seen. We went to a beautiful day resort called Baoase and it was amazing! We paid around $100 each for the day and it included beach chairs, towels, snorkle equipment and water. Everything was going great until we felt the jellyfish. It was a small sting at first but then my whole face was on fire! I think the jellyfish stung me in my eye or face. I did manage to get some help and thankfully the pain went away and we enjoyed the rest of our time. The next day was a sea day and we just hung around the ship got a massage and ATE MORE food! It was the BEST vacation EVER! A rare jellyfish which can grow as long as a SCHOOL BUS has been spotted off the coast of Argentina. Only around 118 sightings of the giant phantom jelly have been made in the last 110 years.
