The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action was a 2015 international agreement to enforce limits on Iran's capacity to develop nuclear munitions. Members of the Trump administration are now working to strike a deal that could end fighting in the middle east, re-open the Strait of Hormuz, and advance efforts toward non-proliferation in Iran. The $850 million campus, located in Chicago's Jackson Park on the city's south side, officially opens June 19 and is being celebrated as both a tribute to President Barack Obama's legacy and a major investment in the surrounding community.
