You are warmly invited to this Friday’s Divine Will Study Day, taking place on 15 May 2026, both in person at Ealing Abbey, London, and online.
✨ Theme
Light of the Divine Will Truths | Carmelite Foundation
Together, we will explore—both prayerfully and practically—the Light of the Divine Will Truths, with reference to St John of the Cross’ teaching.
The day will include reflections on:
Masticating and Manifesting the Light of Truths:
- Drops of light!
- Fr Gennaro’s apparition to Luisa;
- “The easiest means to hasten the coming of my Will upon earth are the knowledges about It.”
O Lamps of Fire! Light and Love:
- A Heart that loves for all in the Divine Will
- The Father of light enlightens and transforms the soul;
-Jesus infuses the light necessary to understand the truths of the writings.
The Light of the Trinity and the Faculties of the Soul:
- The communication of the power of the Father, the wisdom of the Son and the love of the Holy Spirit;
- Memory; Intellect; Will;
- The generation of Divine Acts/Lives through our participation.
👥 Guest Speakers
In our first session, we will be honoured and blessed to welcome once again Fr Emil Milat, who will offer a reflection on the Divine Will and Carmelite spirituality. We look forward to hearing Fr Emil’s rich spiritual and theological perspective.
In our second session, we will be honoured and blessed to welcome Stephen Patton, respected doctrinal scholar and author of the excellent book A Guide to the Book of Heaven. He will enrich us by presenting key teachings from his work, a valuable gift to the Church. His contribution is especially helpful in showing priests and the learned how the Gift of Living in the Divine Will is firmly grounded in the Magisterial and doctrinal teaching of the Church.
Short biographies of our guests:
Fr Emil Milat is Parish Priest of Mary Help of Christians, South Woden, Canberra, Australia. After earning degrees in Economics and Law from the Australian National University and practising as a lawyer, he answered the call to the priesthood.
His spirituality is rooted in Marian devotion, the Charismatic Renewal, and the Vocations ministry. He served as Vocations Director for ten years and was reappointed in 2023.
Since discovering the Divine Will writings in 1997, Fr Emil has spent over 27 years deepening his life in the Gift of the Divine Will, incarnating it particularly within his priesthood. Through his monthly Zoom ministry, he shares these Truths, firmly anchored in Sacred Scripture and the Magisterial teaching of the Church.
Stephen Patton left his civil and criminal trial law practice in 1994 to study graduate theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. After receiving his M.A., he worked as a professional catechist and lay ministry director for three Catholic dioceses until retiring in 2023. He began writing theological treatises defending Luisa’s orthodoxy in 1999.
