To our Cult Cinema Classics community,
We have something important and deeply personal to share with you today.
For the past six years, there has been someone working behind the scenes of this channel every single day — someone most of you have never heard of, and many of you didn't even know existed. Her name is Jessica, and she is the heart and soul of everything you've experienced in this community. She built it. She nurtured it. She showed up for it, quietly and consistently, day after day, for six years.
On May 2nd, Jessica had a serious accident in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Her golf cart fell down a 15-metre ravine. She suffered a traumatic brain injury and has been in intensive care ever since, with her parents by her side.
The good news is that she is fighting, and she is making progress. She is now able to talk and walk short distances with assistance. But she remains fragile, disoriented, and faces a long road ahead.
Jessica is a very private person — you'll notice this is the first time we've ever mentioned her name, let alone shared her photo. But her family has asked us to open this door, and we feel it is right to let the community she built know what has happened.

Quand je revois des films des années 90 de Van Damme, Schwarzenegger ou Stallone, j'ai immédiatement une pensée pour mon père car il adorait ces films et on les regardait ensemble allongé sur le canapé, des souvenirs simples et banals que tous les trentenaires qui ont perdu leur père peuvent comprendre. There are no longer any examples of films where honor is valued more than a terrible showman, only the erratic transformations of nature. A good film with a simple plot that teaches a lot.

Muchísimas gracias por subir Corazón de León. Esta no es solo una película más de Van Damme, es una historia que mezcla acción con sentimiento, honor y lucha por lo que uno ama. Me trae recuerdos de una época donde las películas no necesitaban efectos exagerados para dejarte con el corazón encendido. Van Damme demuestra aquí que además de ser un guerrero, también tiene alma. ¡Gracias por compartir esta joya del cine!

van damme is a legend, this is one of my fave. He was only 26 here (ok 29/30). He came to america with a dream, foreign accent, good looks and a body that could move like no one else.
