I use to be morbidly obese and flew. I realized that I was filling up more space than I should. I apologized to the person next to me and bought him drinks. Afterwards I decided that until I lost weight I was going to have to purchase 2 seats. It’s just not fair to other passengers. Thankfully I lost 200 lbs and I’m half my previous size and I fit nicely in one seat. Perhaps an alternative plan for the airlines is to have 1 or 2 “bariatric” seats per flight and charge a bit more for those

Anyone who cannot fit into one seat with the arms down MUST be made to buy 2 seats, it's that simple.

People who spill over into another passenger's seat should be made to pay for two seats. Having to stand for seven hours on a flight is totally unacceptable.
