Someday, I hope the Lions organization build a.field outdoors. Football, needs to play outdoors. So sad, I remember, when Lion's played at Briggs Stadium. What, a great park for the Tigers's and the Lions. Sure, after, baseball it still.had the dirt infield, but it.wss.true football outside. Not, impressed at all with the inside football fields. It may seem like progress to some not me. Just, like, inside baseball parks. Their, all bad. Ideas. My favorite field, is Chicago's Soldier field, that's a great football field. I wish, the.Lions, had a field like that.

I have been a Lions Fan for a long time. It just seems that paying a QB as much money. That, we should expect more. Don't get me wrong Jared Goff is a great QB, without the ability to scramble, or run for needed yards when the opportunities, have no other choice. He played great last season until the end. He has a lot of changes to the offensive line. But, he needs to adjust to change if it calls for a scramble or two. Or a, designated QB Run. He's no Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, even a Caleb Williams.
The facts are that 1: He needs too run when needed. 2: Have plays that he can run for yards if the run game is not working, and passing is not working either. 3: I know most of the time not every quarter back can run but it should be a priority. 4: Their have been some good opportunities for Detroit Lions scouts to find several outstanding QB's. Once you have all the elements offense, and defense, and all the special teams. When was the last time a rookie, or even a veteran QB, has been tried out for QB. How, much money does it take to get an outstanding, rookie, or veteran who can scramble to throw or run for yards. If the Lions have a great back up QB, or even a veteran on the practice squad. Make sure, he's healthy, and wants to show what he's got.
When, I watched the game, the. QB did not show he was out their to lead the team. Not much competitive, leadership, or a fighting spirt. And, it was passed on to the rest of the team. Everybody, acted, like they didn't care if they didn't give it the best effort for their fans who pay their large salaries.
Finally, I know it's only, one game, but if this continues. It's time to bring in someone who is able to lead not only scrambling, running to avoid a.loss of yards. Many, great, QB's have come off the bench to give their best efforts, and that's what is needed. I know, it's just a game, but if.I pay my, QB that much, please be, a leader. We have waited to long for a.super bowl. We almost, made it last season. But again fell short, where, so close. Let's hope we get their sooner than later. I guess, I expect to much from a, QB. But, at least try to run when needed. And, remember to keep your head on a swivel. And for, God's sake try not to get hurt. Nobody, wants anyone to get hurt. So dive to the field, slide.
