I have a new dog in this fight but it was very frustrating watching that interview. She wouldn’t listen to him and she kept trying to put words in his mouth. And she often wouldn’t let him finish his answers.

You might want to consider whether Newman’s transparent decision to attempt to win the debate through ridicule was based on a very limited personal knowledge of Peterson, coupled with the briefest and most rudimentary of researchers’s notes. Perhaps this was a deliberate decision by the producers to lull Newman into a false sense of security and ensure she was ignorant of Peterson’s famed intellect and articulacy, so to result in good television, which it undoubtedly was.
