Dakota for the US market needs a inline 6 hurricane. It still needs performance and towing capabilities. You can't compete with a Tacoma using it's own game. You need to compete with more capability like the ranger raptor. 4 cylinders is great for a compact but not mid-sized trucks

Hope they learned their lesson. I had 4 Rams. The first three were amazing. Zero issues. Zero drama. The fourth, a 2025 Limited was a disaster and I seriously feel for anyone that runs into major issues and needs to interact with FCA. Once your financing is settled or that check clears, you have already given all your value. I'm with a different brand now and I like it here.

So chevy brought back the blazer and screwed that up. Ford brought back the maverick which wasnt even a truck back then, screwed that up. Now Ram is bringing back another classic. A BADASS classic. And youre making it a freaking hybrid electric crap!?!!?? These people do not learn what so ever. Ram im extremely disappointed. You had a good chance but ruined it. And dont forget the price points as well. The dakota was a small pickup, and now its starting point is $40k, thats insane.

Unfortunately here in the US the ignorance prevail every time. We do have some unibody pickup style vehicles that are not recognized as a compact pickup truck for a single reason. It's not a brand name that people like, that's absolutely stupidity.

I'm going to go ballistic if this new BOF Dotaka is an offshoot of the South America Argentina version. Because they have been so secret on how it will look. Do Stellantis think people are dummies on getting information? And that unibody Rampage second row is just as cramped as the Jeep Renegade in my opinion.
