This is why I study 40+ hours a week in these rigorous science courses, I want to save lives when I become a surgeon. Almost done with college, next step medical school

"12 hours, 17 surgeons."

I was a patient at Mayo where this surgery occurred. It was the talk of the hospital and a great distraction for the patients from the pains we suffered. What a blessing that they were able to move on with life.
missAlma-64 (5 years ago)
I'll never ever understand how it is possible to do this kind of surgery..

... but there're still many twins can't be separated, this two are lucky.
Totalchaos0228 (7 years ago)
I love being a twin..but I wouldn't want to be stuck to my brother for life.

My mouth slammed on the ground when i saw how they were still conjoined! These doctors are really mind blowing!!!!
warwagon (6 years ago)
Damn, I wonder what the hospital bill for that was.
jhimp2457 (9 years ago)
I could never imagine how scary it must have been for the parents when they were in the surgery but also the relief they felt when it was successful. Im so happy for this family, and the girls connection is so cute. They have double the connection than twins born seperated :'). Made my day thannk the lord!! Subhanallah

It's absolutely amazing how they were able to literally separate one body into two without causing any major harms. Science ladies and gentlemen, Science.

one of them: “I’m the quiet one”

Why does it seem like in every set of conjoined twins, one of them is always named Abby (which is my name too btw)
villagegirl17-tn (9 years ago)
They have the same voice. Identical conjointed twins with the same voice.
ellamediodia (8 years ago)
They're lucky that they could be separated and grew up into "normal" kids. Some kids die during surgery or will die if they have surgery.
harryjohnpaman695 (6 years ago)
JUST LOOK AT THE SUBTITLES IT SAID “they got separated by mayo”
wifeofpablo9366 (9 years ago)
Look how they still lean toward one another. That's amazing.
