One thing I love about Jack and Maddie is that despite never “officially” catching a ghost, they have never invented something that didn’t work 100% of the time.

Wasn't there an entire dark timeline arc dedicated to how Danny separating himself from his human form caused a horrible thing to happen as it turned out that his ghost half was evil and didn't hesitate to eliminate his human side?

You know just the thought, but it somehow amazes me that Danny's parent were able to create that without encountering an actual ghost, meanwhile Vlad here made a glove that does thesame thing but possibly has the most painful procedure to separate the human and ghost half.

Literally everything they make works, albeit with the occasional hiccup but still. I wonder why they haven't sent a satellite into the ghost zone to collect data.

It’s a little weird how intense they make the decision to split at 1:23 when the catcher’s introduction pegged it as more of a commodity. Compare/contrast how instant it was the first time; they clearly wanted to emphasize how big a decision this was, but seeing how little it changed either Danny or his Phantom the first time, it raises the question of why the second split was so much more significant than the first. Retcons for tension, anything to teach a lesson, all to serve the status quo for the show.

So wait Tucker has an evil ghost half just roaming around the Ghost zone and that never becomes relevant again.
