The one huge advantage is that every Japanese ball player because of Ohtani wants to play for the Dodgers

We are lucky to be seeing some of the greatest players in the history of this game. I have to respectfully disagree Ryan, as long as Ohtani is playing there is a possibility we could see a better performance. lol

Ohtani brought me into to watching baseball. So glad that the dodgers didn't care for Soto

Stearns objective is not to win the world series, but to be just good enough to make the playoffs and keep the seats full.

You can make a legitimate comparison of Shohei Ohtani and Babe Ruth. That's incredible but true. It's like having Mickey Mantle AND Dizzy Dean or Bob Feller in their primes. Who even thought that was a possibility but it's happening right before our eyes. No other front office has the smarts or the resources. And the best players want to be on a perennial winner. So it's a great time to be a Dodger fan.

Your owner is one of the very few that has shown a willingness to spend the way a winning program needs to spend.

everybody talks about the $ the dodgers spend for stars but lets talk about how they are able to have that $ to spend. they are the only ones who saw that if you build a winner in a big market you make more $ than you spent. they financed their stars by selling merch, by getting tv rights in japan, by having a part of marketing profits all due to the assets they acquired. this was a brilliant business plan. you only have to look at the dummies in the same classroom to see this. the dummies being the los angels angels. the angels had ohtani and mike trout and have the same market area. they could have done what the dodgers did. instead, they didn't have the courage to do that and let ohtani go to the dodgers and the dynasty was created with the greatest player of all time. angels fans(me) were relegated to being a disgraced joke. hats off to the dodgers, they earned their place. great management and vision. im a dodger fan now. why not?
