Overwhelming amounts of money, drugs, and attention, combined with terminal amounts of depression and stupidity.

This is an entertainment industry problem in general. Actors, rock stars, and models all tend to live fast and hard lives.

Drugs, alcoholism, self-deletion due to mental health issues, aging out of work, peer pressure, agent pressure, "director" pressure, realization that the most despicable effort to make easy money doesn't yield much unless you hustle to "create your brand", realization that they lied about the female empowerment aspects, the fact that this is an industry made up primarily of women with loose morals trying to escape horrible home lives doesn't lend itself to the most stable of environments.

The industry preys on the broken

I went to high school with a girl that went by Dakota Skye. Her bios don't say this,but she went to high school in my home town in Kentucky. Her real name was Lauren. She died on some random person's couch in a trailer in skid row (LA) at the age of 27. She would have turned 30 next month.

It's drugs, alcohol and suicide. Those three seem to be the main culprits.

They lose their souls one scene at a time. Your soul can only take so much punishment before you lose the will to live. I wish they had better families. RIP
