So... I have a gen1 block from a L48 vette that I'm giving a Vortec upgrade. I want to do the Serpentine upgrade.. I know you can grab the whole front end off a vortec v6 or V8 Vortec But .... Will all of the front end of a regular 4.3 work. I can't seem to find any Clearly... I have one lined up but its not a Vortec..

Would the first setup fit just as good? Without doing any modification? I’m not running any ac and would like to keep the alternator on the passenger side which is why I’m asking

So did you have to use different AC lines or did use the original lines that came with the truck

Are you running r22 or r134 refrigerant?
