The mom may be trying to bit off the umbilical cord left on the kitten and needs it to be flipped over and the kitten wasn’t expecting it so it screamed.

You stressed the mother out with the light! Box should have a nice warm blanket and be in a dark hidden, out of the way place. You are hurting the baby by filming it!! Mama was probably trying to bite off umbilical cord. Maybe she's a new mother and just learning. You are NOT HELPING HER.
