VC Movie Reviews Is Thrawn from Star Wars evil? Having read the recent series of Star Wars novels, I'm not that sure. Disney seem to have a weird trend going of making the Empire not so outright evil! (11 months ago)

VC Movie Reviews Happy New Year, with us having completed one revolution round the sun I thought I'd stick up a list of the 5 best films I saw in 2024! In no particular order they were: The Shadow Strays, Alien Romulus, Furiosa, Love Lies Bleeding and Dune part 2...let me know what your faves were in the comments below and I'll be back with my 5 least favourite tomorrow! VC Movie Reviews I'm still alive as is this channel I've just been insanely busy the past few months as I'm in the process of emigrating back home after 12 years of being overseas! I actually wrote a script for a review of Capricorn One way back in August! Which I'm hoping I'll be able to get out before we leave here. After that I hope I can return to doing content a little bit more regularly. (1 year ago)

He doesn't know how to use the three seashells
davesworld7961 (1 year ago)
That was basically my theory. They are seashell shaped buttons controlling settings on a futuristic toilet.
haweater1555 (10 months ago)
Buttons pressed in sequence: 1. Flush. 2. Water cleaning spray. 3. Air blow dry.

It’s a bidet system with three steps/buttons. Seashell one: soap and water. Seashell 2: High pressure water stream.

How does this not have more likes? This ish is hilarious.

You know what make it even more confusing is if the seashells were those sprial ones. Lmfaooo
brendathompson473 (1 year ago)
Well, as "buttons" they don't actually have to be pressed but just respond to touch and maybe you even pick them up to control the water or air pressure or whatever. Just a thought.

Some people definitely gonna need more shells for scraping the rest after the first 2.
ProJanitor (8 months ago)
They probably are buttons since they’re neatly equal distances from each other.

So the Japanese toilet finally caught on.
Ok, now lets move to the next big question of that movie. How many rats do you need to make a ratburger?

I’ve always thought the sea shells where like all restaurants being Taco Bells and the radio playing all jingles, the future looks great at the start but the longer you think about it, their future is really dumb. Besides being oppressive , their “advancements” are either all for show at best, or terrible backslides at worst.
arx3516 (1 year ago)
Being buttons for a washlet is the theory that makes most sense. The real question is why they're all shaped like sea shells. The answer is probably that they were originally shaped like that as a form of decoration for a very popular model, so a midel so popular that its styling was copied by all the other models of washlers that came after.

It's gotta be painful

I believe they mess around with him by placing 3 seashells where the paper should be.

My theory is: use the first to clean if it become to dirty you switch to the second and the third... then you clean them and re-use.
YearlyDose (1 year ago)
I think in the future everything is automatic, so given that when you poo and pee the private parts are automatically cleaned and flushed, I think the seashells are just options that the machine cant decide on its own.. So my guess is the seashells is a mixing device to customize the cleaning process for the user. 1st seashell is to choose the temperature level , 2nd is for the intensity of cleaning, 3rd seashell would be the length of time to clean.. So you swipe your finger left to right on top of the seashell to increase or decrease the settings.. It will not operate unless you set all of the settings and I guess you can do it really quickly.

They look metallic and therefore electrically conductive in the movie, so the buttons wouldn't need to be depressed, just touched like those touch sensitive lamp bases.
