Nothing pisses me off more than anything AI generated. I hate that even at the company I'm working at, they're just shoving this crap down our throats saying, "it's the new Google". No it's not. Google made it easier to access real content not engaging with something that isn't even real. Gross.

1000% on the "all romantasy at looking the same" I belonged to an acotar group and this one girl was like "I generated tamlin and Lucian" and I was like "am I going blind or are those the SAME GUY" someone else (thank God) was like "yup" and made a gif...the ai literally just changed the hair color. Like, please...

At this point, the only solution is just banning it outright. I donβt care what kind of legal tricks have to be pulled, we have to make it a federal felony to distribute access to an AI content generator.

We are going to get to the point really soon where tracing art is going to be widely considered original artwork because at least youβre not using ai.

its literally soooo sad about genAI encroaching into fanart, I literally cannot look up fanart about a book im reading because it's all AI and its so maddening to see. and its all the recent romantasy books that have this problem??? like I know there must be one real person creating fanart but I feel like its a lost thing????? why would people create fanart when they have ai prompt do it for them???

So, there's this song called "Miyazaki" by Paris Paloma. I think that people on Booktok should listen to it and pay attention to the lyrics. Like, REALLY PAY ATTENTION to the lyrics.
