Wondering if this works with Spectrum Digital cable? They have encrypted the Spectrum where I live so I don’t know this will work in New York.

Ok due a death in the family. We took back all the cable/modem boxes back to Spectrum HI. And signed up Wifi only. So they gave us a wifi cable modem. I hooked up a new TP-link router & everything works fine. But now we can't get live tv using the spectrum app. It keeps on telling us we have to subscribe to a $44.99 plan to get live tv. We use to be able to use the Spectrum app when we had cable boxes but no more. This sucks, sorry this is so long.
