I use to build laptop PC's by buying a few dead ones on the cheap (all the same make and model) and making one or two good ones out of the parts. Making these laptop PC's so cheaply helped me get my kids through college and trade schools. I wonder if you can do the same thing with bikes (provided you're mechanically skilled of course).

I have been buying salvaged motorcycles since 2003. Thing's to look out for are how much damage and the cost of repairs add that to the purchase price. You don't want to pay more than the bike is worth with a damaged title

If I ever went there I would bring along a 12 volt battery jumper box to be able to see if they start up or not. That way you could test everyone your interested in bidding on.
