I just know Lanning was absolutely livid. There’s no excuse, keep it vanilla or run every play we got, we should have put up 50+. It literally looked like the O-line did not even know their assignment at times. Completely unacceptable. If the offense even looks remotely close to that week 2 it’s gonna be an L.

The problem was the offense line

O-Line massive disappointment. Therefore, no running game. Poor execution. Idaho outclassed and outcoached Lanning. So much for "rooted in substance. Blocking and execution a NO SHOW. NO explosion plays??? WTF!

I hope they drop us out of the top 10 as a culture shock. Our players DEFINITELY were buying into the koolaid all off season. The team out west docuseries, wow you’re so good comments. May be the best roster out there. You could tell the players believed it.

The plays took way to long to develop. It was like watching slow motion. The O line obviously was not anywhere near up to par. The stats that Dillion had were pretty decent, but he did not look like he had control of the offense or look comfortable. He took way too long on his check downs, and missed some good looks that could have possibly led to touchdowns. He also needed to use his legs more. He was like frozen in time when there were chances for him to run. Back to the Doctor, as Dan would put it. But they better call a surgical team. Because they have a lot of work to do. Go Ducks.

The line just seems slow to me even Dylan seemed slow passing and handing off. Or I’m just used to how fast Bo was at getting the ball out.

Forget what the scoreboard showed. THAT WAS A LOSS.

When we see oregon push a defensive line backward instead of being pushed backward by a smaller team I'll get some confidence back in this coaching staff and players.

When I feel bad about beating Fresno State by only 20, I look at the Oregon game and suddenly feel better.

The O line was a disaster. I also was surprised at how immobile Gabriel seemed. Can he not move at all?

It was like we played at 50%, we were jogging, sluggish and slow, just all around confused, hopefully we get it all figured out becuase we are way to talented for this to happen

Ohio State fan here...i think there is some overreaction to this game. I watched the game and i thought Idaho was TOUGH. If their QB didn't have a noodle of an arm i think this could have been an upset, but it wasn't. It was game one. I think Idaho is being underrated big time. Again, game one...I'd see this as a very good thing. Coaches will have their players focus this week. You can't compare to other games/teams results. Llong run, this will be a good thing. Buckeyes didn't come out of the gates well either. By the time our teams face each other, i think both teams will be ready.
