I imagine this version involves the biceps towards the top of the exercise as opposed to keeping the palms down….

Seriously. And when the weight of the dumbbells becomes too heavy and it's uncomfortable to control 20kg or 30kg dumbbells to do that movement above your head without crushing it... It's simply inadequate for progressive overload. Any deltoid exercise works for those who use steroids and develop them in a monstrous and deformed way, so stop deceiving people with your nonsense about reinvented exercises.
