We finished our second trip on Route 66 yesterday!
This time we took 16 days and drove the route from East to West. It was a fantastic adventure with lots of fun things to see for the 100 year anniversary this year.
It will take at least a month for me to edit it but I can't wait to share our second trip on Route 66 with you and you can see some of the highlights on Pops channel where he is doing a "Postcards from Route 66" series -

Thanks everyone for sending the letters to Pops for his birthday!!! He is almost up to 100 letters and postcards from all over the globe!
He wants to do a live stream on his channel opening a bunch of them so I will post an update when that gets scheduled. I really appreciate you all sending them, what a way to celebrate his 70th bday!

Hey everyone!
Two quick updates -
1. Pops and I just got back from a 10 day American Revolution Road Trip and I can't wait to share it with you! This week is a video on our time in Boston, but the full road trip will probably take a month to edit.
2. Pops 70th birthday is coming up in about a week and a half and I thought it would be awesome to collect some postcards/letters from anyone who wants to send one to share with him on his birthday. If you are interested in sending a letter in, you can send it to the address below.

Live in the Tulsa area. Went and visited the Blue Whale just last week as they have done some renovations. There is now a building there. You can no longer go up into the whale

In 1960-1962 our family made the trip over Route 66 several times when my parents were moving from Chicago to Los Angeles. Each trip was epic for me and my brother. We got to see it in its heyday. I saw several motels we stayed in that are in ruins now. I am so glad I was able to experience as a child before they dismantled it. I hope it comes back in all its glory someday.

You two are an absolute gem for folks that lack the means or ability to travel and see the beautiful country. I spent many, many days and nights traversing the scenic routes and historic by-ways of the mid Atlantic states, including Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and South Carolina with my grandparents in the eighties and nineties, as a youth. What great times we had, exploring, enjoying each other's company, rarely with any preconceived final destination declared or expected. We saw cities and suburbs...mountains and valleys....from the tiniest farms to bustling cities! I learned a great deal about wealth and poverty ( My grandparents were from rural West Virginia, but had settled in the suburbs of Washington DC. My grandfather becoming a DC firefighter and my grandmother a banker, defeating their own struggles)...about struggles, both financial and cultural. That time spent with my loved ones is time I'll cherish forever. Bravo gentlemen, what wholesome, all-American fun!!
