The Big Ten would go after schools like UNC, UVA and Duke long before they would go after Boston College.

The SEC and B1G will not expand past 20, if they even go that far. There is no money in going past 20. Every addition has to be additive financially.

Had Florida St., Miami, and Virginia Tech maintained there football excellence the ACC wouldn't be in the situation it's in now.

After the ACC is raided, maybe Boston College can join the Big East?

I think the Big 10 changes to the B1G! The B1G and SEC will want to have no more than 24 teams. Currently, they have 16 teams. I think the next eight for the B1G would be among Stanford, UNC, U of VA, Oregon, ND, Washington, Colorado, Cal, Duke or GA. Tech. If basketball was of any value, Baylor and Kansas would already be involved in a super conference. Fox and ESPN are driving this super conference alignment.

The big 12 is the most Likely option. The big 12 was just waiting for power 5 schools needing a place.

I know it will never happen, but imagine a new conference with ND, BC, Virginia, UNC, Miami, Duke, Stanford being the core with additional academic schools added.

I think you are going to hat the Power 2 conferences (SEC and B1G), Big12 and everyone else.

I would like to see ND obvious reasons, bridges WVU passionate fan base, Cincy get us in Ohio, & Memphis gets us in Tennessee. But honestly a Bi-Coastal Conference would with ACC & PAC schools would survive economically for a while.

If the ACC cannot get ND to join, then the ACC is doomed, especially if the B1G gets them with Oregon (my projection) which will be the next dominos to fall.

The Big12 seen this collapse coming that why Bob Bowlsby retired and they brought in a top notch negotiator in the new Commissioner. Tuesday the Big12 will be wheeling and dealing. Their not sitting back like in the past. First the Pac12 Teams to the Big12 and then the ACC Teams.
