really good review. shame you cant pull the slide back on these umarex pistols. i have the desert eagle which is great but it contains alot of plastic parts. I kinda wish they had real mags but what the heck its still a great gun. the desert eagle only came with 1 mag :( and rises off c02, so this month i might get the beretta with a laser like yours and get the red-dot for the deagle. one question, whats better the smith n wesson 357 or the 92fs?

Great review !... I Just ordered it too !, could you please be so kind and explain how you polished the barrel? just the general stuff I need for it, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, do you think the entire gun could be polished ? ... regards !

Hi, I just got this gun. Did you find that the trigger was quite a stiff pull on double action at first? Its not unbearable at all, and the single action is great, but If you pull it slowly in double action it seems quite a long and stiff pull to me. If you pull it quickly then it glides really smoothly, but this of course throws your aim a little off.

@c02pistolman Thanks for the kind thoughts. The Umarex 92FS is one of the original ones they designed. They made the Colt 1911, the Beretta 92FS, and the Walther CP88, all of which are full metal and accurate. since then the newer models are made in different factories around the world to different standards and I dont think they are anything like as good as the original 3. Ger a green laser for the deagle - I had one on mine at it was great. Which is better - S&W 357 or 92FS? - both!

Real FO Sights? - I would think possibly - the rear sight is dovetailed into the top of the slide as it should be, but it is probably not exactly the right size, amd the foresight blade literally drops out when the barrel is removed - not sure if that is the case with a real 92 - check with a gunsmith is the best option.

@JUNAID187 Yes, they do, but other cheaper makes do not and so that is why I add a drop of silicone oil to the top of the capsule, to lubricate the sealing ring that the capsule presses into.

@howardmaryon Thanks for your response, I am finding that it is getting slightly better now, I have put about 800 rounds through it, and I am getting a lot more used to the trigger pull in double action. I am mainly using it for plinking so I dont care too much about how close I can group, but I do shoot the odd paper target and I've got a few decent groups out of it, I'm not the best shot in the first place, but I am finding it a very enjoyable gun on the whole and would recommend it to all.
