Happy 8 years of Mask Pig's creation!
Today marks eight years since Mask Pig was created on June 14th, 2018. If the username “kingpig” hadn’t already been taken on Scratch, Mask Pig might never have existed.
Time really does fly. I was only 11 when I made that Scratch username and designed Mask Pig as an Angry Birds OC. I had no idea he’d become a character I’d stick with for years, eventually evolving from an OC into someone who represents me. It’s wild to think that by 2028, Mask Pig will be over a decade old, and I’ll be 20.
To celebrate, I’ll be redesigning Mask Pig later this year. His current design has been around since January 2021, and there are a few things I’ve wanted to fix, like his hard‑to‑animate eyes and the cape, which I’ll be removing even though it originally came from a suggestion by a now‑retired Scratch friend. I hope ScratchFCS9 is doing well; I don’t have a way to reach him anymore, and his YouTube channel hasn’t been active in a long time. ScratchFCS9, if you ever see this post, thank you for being the first friend I made on Scratch. I hope life is treating you well. Whatever you’re doing now, I’ll always be rooting for you.
Thank you to my parents, my friends, and all of you for supporting me over the years — it truly means a lot. The internet and Discord have given me a place to express myself and do what I love, even while dealing with depression and other challenges. Mask Pig isn’t going anywhere; I plan to keep going for as long as I can. No one else can replace what the character means to me, and I hope the legacy I build will be remembered when I eventually retire or move on.
It’s been a long road, but I’m grateful I still enjoy creating after all these years. Here’s to 8 years of Mask Pig. Thank you, everyone, for your kindness, support, and love. Take care, and bye for now.

Hello everyone, Mask Pig here. It's been a while, but I have got a new Sonic Genesis Trilogy development update for you guys.
What’s new this time? All the remaining track title cards for Sonic & Knuckles are now completed! This means that all the images for the album’s YouTube video are ready. The only thing left for me to do now is to implement the images into the video and upload the video to YouTube.
I can't believe it's already June, which means we are now halfway through 2026. At the same time, things have been quite stressful lately. The Discord server has been attacked by spambots twice, so I've had to implement a verification system for it, to solve the problem. I hope it works, since it took me part of yesterday and this morning to complete it. Unfortunately, many people have left the server due to spam issues, which can make it feel quite inactive at times. This is one of the reasons for the current situation.

I hope the new verification system will prevent any future spambot attacks, as the stress from the recent spam incident has made me quite paranoid. On a positive note, we're nearing the completion of the Sonic Genesis Trilogy album, so there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to focus on the bright side, you know? Speaking of the album, don't expect a release date until after June 14th, as the anniversary of Mask Pig's creation will be on that day.
Can't believe that Mask Pig will be turning eight years old this year, really. It's been an incredible journey as a Scratcher, YouTuber, and soundfont cover musician. I hope you all have been doing well, and I look forward to seeing you in the next post.

Happy Pride Month and Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month!

(Reimu), for shouting me out in her post yesterday, talking about the same thing I am here.
It’s important to be yourself and not let anyone shut you down. Be proud of who you are, and stand with those in the LGBTQ+ community who deserve the same freedom to be themselves. And through all of that, remember that your health always comes first. Everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued.
We shouldn’t be judged by the color of our skin, our disability, our sexuality, our culture, or any part of who we are as people. Everyone deserves dignity and fairness.
For anyone struggling with their mental health, I’m truly sorry you’re going through a hard time. Even when things feel heavy, things can change, and you deserve support while you work through it. I’ve dealt with depression myself since COVID‑19 began in 2020, when I was around 15, so I understand how difficult it can be. Please reach out to a professional if you’re struggling — real support from someone you trust is so important. I care about everyone here, and if you want to share what you’re going through in the comments, you’re welcome to. I’ll do my best to respond when I can, even though YouTube isn’t always the safest place to vent. I just want to offer support where I’m able.
