Poor kid. They must protect the whole stadium to avoid situations like this. The issue is not the lawsuit, it is the safety of us as fans.

A lot of these players are dads. This would about half kill them.

The way all the players were looking so upset and caring really makes you feel sorry for them. They didn't mean for this to happen and the stadium owner is to blame for not having protective netting.

It breaks my heart that, that little kid got hurt. But it also really warms my heart up when I see people forgetting about the game, and praying and dealing with it with everybody else.

People saying why bring a toddler to a baseball game but the same injury could have happened to an adult. Get a net.

You can really tell some of these players really care more about their fans than the actual game from their reactions.

I just looked for an update on the girl and found one! She is doing much better and has completely healed from her short term injuries. She may have to get surgery in the future for her eye and nose, but at the moment is doing good! I’m glad she is okay and that she will recover.
