I like how he mentioned several of the major faction questlines. And THE CHEESE. We all know THAT cheese.

This is like the only time we get our Elder Scrolls characters get to interact with each other. I also guess it’s canon the Hero of Kvatch was in the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood.

Can you imagine how pissed Mehrunes Dagon was when the one who destroyed his plans, not only becomes a fellow daedric Prince, but the literal daedric prince of trolling?

I love the fact they added all that dialogue. My battle mage Breton getting to carry on & meet the Dragonborn warms my heart, or maybe it’s indigestion. I need to start doin the fish stick again.

“A fox, a severed head” is he referring to the gray fox and mothers severed head from the dark brotherhood?

For the people that don’t understand cause they never played oblivion, Martin is Urial Septum’s last living son and was to become emperor and stop the oblivion crisis with aid from the Hero of Kvatch. Mehrunes Dagon enters Tamriel so Martin breaks the Amulet of Kings which contains Akatosh’s blood and he becomes the Dragon form of Akatosh and sends Mehrunes back to Oblivion. Him saying I was there is him saying he is the Hero of Kvatch then goes on to say Butterflies referring to when you first enter the Shivering Isles, you appear in a room with Haskill, who is basically Sheogorath’s Stewart, you talk to him and when you decide you want to enter the Isles the room’s walls and ceiling turns into butterflies. Blood I’m not 100% sure on but I feel like it’s either a reference to the Knights of Nine DLC when you start the Anvil chapel was attacked and if you go in it’s covered in blood or a reference to 1 of the 2 or both main quest missions, 1 being you need to find “blood of the divine” and you find Tiber Septum’s armor for scraps of his blood or where you have to find “blood of the deadra” and you sacrifice a deadric artifact, both needed to create a portal to Mankar Camora’s paradise. The fox is a reference to the thieves guild quest line when you help the gray fox lift the curse off the gray shroud of nocturnal so he can go back to his life with his wife the countess of Anvil and you become the gray fox. The severed head is a reference to the dark brotherhood quest line where you find out there is a trader in the dark brotherhood’s black hand that has been changing your dead drop contracts to have you kill off members of the black hand including the listener and you track down his hideout and find his mother’s severed head before going to meet up to find your speaker (Skyrim’s Spectacular Assassin) dead killed by that black hand cause they thought he was the trader. And lastly the CHEESE….. to get the Wabbajack Sheogorath (or Haskill depending on how far you are in the Shivering Isles DLC) (also dialogue depends how far you are in the Shivering Isles DLC it’s a cool touch) you are sent to terrorize a town of Khajiits. First thing is “Fear of plague” so you go into the Inn and learn about a very pungent cheese and you steal it and throw it in a cooking pot outside and a bunch of rats show up next is “ plague of famine” so easy you kill off their live stock and then lastly you get to witness something Sheogorath set up which is “plague of fear” where he makes it rain flaming dogs. On top of a town full of cat people. Got a good kick out of it. They are all things only the Hero of Kvatch would have really known about

I haven’t played much Skyrim, especially compared to the hours of Oblivion I’ve played. But I don’t recall Sheogorath doing anything evil in Skyrim. It’s like the hero is still there. Just a little more mad.

Notice how when he says Fox, it's capitalized. Clearly referring to The Gray Fox.

Didn’t need this in Skyrim to know. You literally become Sheogorath in Oblivions Shivering Isles DLC.

Butterflies: When you first enter the shivering isles, the scenery explodes into butterflies, also a big symbol of sheogorath

When you stop to think about it the hero of kvatch becoming Sheogorath makes sense. I mean who else would be crazy enough to be the arch mage, a noble knight of the nine and the arena grand champion yet also be the listener and the grey fox at the same time?
