Монреаль сейчас показывает самый интересный хоккей . Каждый матч как триллер с непредсказуемой развязкой .

There was one member of mainstream media who felt Anderson deserved his penalty. Nick Kypreos. But his whole defense of why it should be a penalty was "come on, It's a penalty!". That's it. Nick Kypreos, always providing that deep insider insight. (I'm sorry. I'm not usually not this negative, but jeez it irked me.)

If NHL officiating were more competent, then fights would be unnecessary. To the extent that fights are happening, something that would be considered "unsportsmanlike" in every other sport (except fighting sports), the amount of fights is a good indicator of NHL ref incompetence. In this case (Habs v. Oilers), fights were not the data that shows the incompetence. It is primarily that fines were not given to the players and the amount of commentary against those officials in that game. From a capitalist perspective, they ruined the entertainment product that the NHL tries to produce for as lot of people.
