I actually figured this one too, i knew you’re supposed to use the puppeteer ninjitsu to a monkey, but* I couldn’t find the monkey.

You can also just use mist raven to evade the snake's lunge altogether.

i used neither the monkey nor mist raven i literally just tanked the hit and got inside easily

Good job! I knew there's something to do with that monkey, I just couldn't figure it out. For me, I just tanked the first attack of the snake and then run in when it's busy.

Bullshit, I got here way before getting the Puppet Ninjutsu (Already completed the entirety of Senpou, but for some bizarre reason, you have to kill Genichiro to make the illusion area available)
