He got him in a headlock using his own arm and also used that arm to trap his other arm. As well as getting his phone out his pocket, putting it on record and placing the phone down, perfectly framing himself and the guy. Amazing.

The look on his face and big sigh / pause after he said “sometimes people come to us to learn self defense after something happened” makes me believe he’s heard many tragic stories from others and thus finds meaning in teaching others to stand for themselves. Respect to this man!
