Hi everyone! I have some exciting news! I was finally able to build a new PC, and I can't wait to try my games on it. However, I have a ton of configuration and downloading that I need to do to get my settings back to (hopefully) where they were. With that said, there will probably be a stretch this week with no videos, but fear not! I will be back soon, and I'm very excited to see how my games play on my new rig. Hey all! I hope everyone had a great Christmas (for those of you who celebrate)!
Unfortunately, Covid wasn't on my Christmas list this year, but that's what I got as an early present on Christmas Eve. I'm feeling much better today, but I was down and out for a bit. With that said, I had videos queued up until today, but there's going to be a bit of a break since I haven't felt well enough to play over the last few days. Rest assured, it won't be long before we're back on the Rimworld or conquering the world of Warhammer again.
I pray you all have a wonderful, safe New Year! Thank you for all of the lovely comments and conversations we had over the past year. I'm very much looking forward to what 2026 brings! 😊

I really enjoy how the HE play a lot like a traditional Total War game faction. Front line, archers and cavalry. Made it very easy for me to get into the game.

The Eagle Bolt Thrower is that way because unlike other races where the army is centered around supporting and protecting the artillery. For high elves it's the opposite, the artillery exists to support the main army and even if you end up losing the Eagle Bolt Thrower its not that big of a deal since you can easily recruit it again. Personally I would place it low B tier.

The Noble can be rather clutch in the beginning or if playing aggressively due to the replenishment.

First of all, really appreciate choice of music - "Isha's Blessing", excellent soundtrack (I consider it as ambient?), fully representing High Elves imo :) another great soundtrack is "Rhya's Hymn" (you'd recognize it from playing for Empire).

Rangers for me have a neat niche on factions like Imrik that fight skaven low armor infantry early game. They cut through rats very efficiently. I wish they didn't require a barracks then they would be really solid.

Phoenix guard and silvin gaurd are really good anti large units very limited unit unless you need to kill like cavalry or monster's.

Shadow Warriors are available to people owning Queen&Crone (but Alith Anar boost them) and Shadow Walkers are exclusive to Nagarythe so yeah if you never played him you never saw them.

I love Silverin Guard. They look cool, they have really good stats and I find that the 30% magic resist really helps out alot in WH3... the ai just seem to be more spell-spammy than in WH2. I used to run pure missile armies with the high elves but with how flank-happy the ai is now I've started putting defensive infantry on the flanks, just so I have to micro less xD
