I think the schedule release stuff is the most overblown stuff in sports tbh. You think players and coaches are looking at the entirety of their schedule and penciling in wins and losses

Respectfully, I don’t know who Will is speaking to. He’s speaking like the fans on Twitter are the players and coaches, dooming in the locker room. They don’t think like miserable social media fans think. He’s talking as if Garrett Wilson is mopey that he’s playing the Bears early. Just feels like he’s too online.

Trying to tie the fans reactions and predictions to the mentality of the team is wild.. if im penciling in losses, it has absolutely no bearing on the teams performance on the field. But, their performance on the field absolutely has bearing on how I look at the schedule. 6 wins maximum. If we lose out the gate, history tells us the next 5 or 6 will probably be brutal. Until they prove otherwise they are quitters, it is what it is

Nice job! Badlands is always a MUST listen. I always appreciate Will's intelligent and positive outlook. I've been a Jets fan since 1970, I'm tired of the constant negativity. The current iteration of the team deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Bad part about being the Jets is if we lose to a team like Tennessee they'll shit on us, if we win they'll downplay it.

I agree. This team has ZERO “tank” DNA. To really BUILD a culture besides having the right players and coaches in the building,WINNING GAMES is huge in that development.
