I was 17 when Michael passed. it was a couple of days before Thanksgiving here in the states. i was devastated. isn't it weird how you can feel compassion and sadness for someone you never met? Rest easy Michael.

I’m a Marine stationed in Japan in 1988 and I met a cute local girl On our first date we were walking around Yokosuka and we heard this song outside and I started singing She didn’t understand a word of what I was singing, but she knew what I was saying.

I was 18, Detroit, Michigan. INXS played this song, right before the sax solo, the lights went out, there was a pause for about five seconds and the whining sax hit loud. We went bonkers, incredible concert.
