Binary Studios BinaryRanked v2.8 is out! Major changes (some images attached): - Ability to click on someone's name to see their score breakdown, good for comparisons and moderation. - Clear Key Remapping Policies (what's cheating or not) - Customization/Quality of life: Lock scrolling during run, disable right click menu, show line numbers in ultra, and prevent resetting until a mistake has been made. All can be toggleable on/off. - Leaderboard formatting changes: Leaderboard broken into blocks of 50 where you can press previous/next, instead of the format list where everything was in a single box which lagged and made it hard to find specific rankings. To make it easier to find specific rankings, search feature also implemented and refresh button. - Remapping keys within game. The way it works is, through the customization tab, you could choose any 1:1 remapping. Furthermore, the original 0-1 keys still work when the remapping is active. However, using both the remapping AND the original 0-1 keys in the same game does not work, to prevent non-1-1 remapping. Minor changes: - Shows global high score instead of local high score in “BEST” tab, good for syncing accounts. - Shows global rank along with percentile along with scores in Career Stats. - Fixed bug where the score required for a rank is shown as one rank lower than it actually is. - Fixed Rank System Explanation - Removed XP Factor and Rank Points Tab - Clarification that scores will not be deleted despite pending status - Consistency in design e.g. the word Binary being black or comma for better XP formatting - Additional Rank and Percentile label in Best section - Undo button (with 0.25s penalty) - Fixed visual bug of refresh button hiding the bottom row time - Cleaner/more compressed Color Settings tab, due to more new features in Customization tab - Removed Next Rank Update that was formerly added due to hardcoded medal thresholds, now removed as medals are percentile based. - Information shows games played instead of Lines Cleared that was formerly bugged - Made Skill Rank tab collapsible-able, consistent with other tabs to the right - Custom mode bugfix, as scores are now savable and all times receive 0 XP. - Indicator of a new best run (7 days ago)

Binary Studios I was so caught up with BinaryRanked hitting 75K I forgot about the Chemistry exam tomorrow! This exam is the most significant out of the five that I have to take. For the wrong reasons.. Ever since the pervious Semester 1 Chemistry Exam, I knew that I had to do better. The exam was fairly easy, I finished early, but when I did, I did something stupid: checking my work I should have started earlier but wasted time, until with only 30 minutes left, I thought of the wise idea of trying to press as many calculator clicks as possible. It sounds easy, but since I have a janky casio where I have to press the tiny M+ button, for extended periods of time, I was only able to get 10,517 clicks, beating my former goal of 10,000. But after the exam I knew that I could have done a lot better. Furthermore, I scored only a ninety-six. I t was not worth it to miss out on so many clicks just for a 96. So I set my eyes on the Semester 2 Exam, and I wanted to improve by 50%, so 15,000 clicks. And although this sounds dumb, you might have rememberd my video of getting a world record, and this calculator clicking was where it all started, it was my way of entertaining myself through boring classes, and even when I gave up the bad habit in high school, it was still part of me being in my natural habitat. This is my final chance to do well. Next year, in AP Physics C, there is zero chance I will get away with it. I cannot just click mindlessly either beacuse I need my A. To make matters worse, the time limit is only 70 minutes. And you know what? I think I might have been the reason why. Remember mentioning that the exam was easy? Since so many people finished so early, the teacher thought that the initial 75 minutes given was way too lenient, so there is now 70 minutes. 5 minutes does not sound like a lot, but at 350 clicks a minute that is over 1,700 clicks. Furthermore, the topics are much harder this time. Semester 1 is the boring Chemistry, Semester 2 is the FUN chemistry. This will not be easy but I will have to do it. Will pin a comment a couple hours after the exam is over on how I did. (2 weeks ago)
