Off-Map America
Description
Off-Map America is a channel dedicated to uncovering forgotten ghost towns, abandoned communities, and overlooked small towns across every U.S. state, with a special focus on places where houses are surprisingly cheap and the American dream looks very different from the big cities. Each video explores hidden corners of America that most people never hear about, showing eerie empty streets, fading main streets, abandoned homes, ultra-low property prices, and towns with strange histories, economic decline, and unexpected beauty. The channel blends mystery, geography, real estate curiosity, and forgotten Americana, taking viewers deep into off-the-map places where you can still find silence, space, and incredibly affordable houses.

There is a hospital closer to Lobo than El Paso. Culberson Hospital is 17 miles from Lobo. Small, but it exists.

If you buy land ANYWHERE, you should be able to dig half way to china and keep whatever you find. Not be over ruled by some GREEDY corporation or the GREEDY government that does NOTHING but WASTE or STEAL OUR TAX DOLLARS.

And around Van Horn it gets to 110-120 degrees in the summer.Terlingua is hotter than hell too ( its not the end of the world, but you can see it from there) It’s 2 hrs to the nearest town of even 6000 people.

Traversing the Middle East and South Asia I learned how there’s many ways to make it in the desert. This helped me make a living in the deserts of CA and NM, (water sisters+moisture traps). Smart droplet systems and solar panels + natural gas and hydrogen to keep up with my tech). #science and perseverance

There's an Indianola in another, inland state. Most of the pictures are probably from there except for the ones that actually show a bay.

Everything is advertised as ranches. 5 to 10 acres for less than 10k. Fyi: a ranch is a place where animals are raised. You couldn't even support a single goat on that small parcel without buying feed for it. Don't forget drinking water is a tad bit of a necessity.

No water, no supply infrastructure, no community, no stability.
