Growing up at that time and wanting desperately to know more about bands that were really pushing the boundaries of contemporary music, this is a classic example of how the mainstream media dealt with the subject. It's as if the camera crew were parachuted into a remote jungle somewhere to investigate the strange culture of an undiscovered tribe that'd never been touched by civilisation.
