It really helps fast doublebass because you can make each hit sound more distinct, enabling you to keep rhythm much easier than you would.

Thank you. Lol. Just so everyone knows, it's not 300bpm 16ths, it's 150-160bpm 16th triplets (not sure of exact speed), so equivilant to about 225-230bpm

its just my own technique. i think its something similar to swivel? some people call it that. i personally dont like heel toe at all. but it dont matter.

Hello everyone, triggers DO NOT make you faster, or the sound faster or whatever. Triggers are used for recording, it sends a signal to something thats hooked up to your amp or PA or whatever it is you are using, and stamps in a MIDI file or some other kind of musical file, and makes the sound you want, of a kick drum, every time. Triggers, DO NOT make you faster.
