As a DIYer, I managed to install 2x800w solar panels with a grid-tied inverter and managed to get the G98 approval, so this looks very promising.

It's not just Germany. In The Netherlands plug-in batteries are becoming very popular. They are, just like in Germany, restricted to 800W export. Brands like Anker, HomeWizard, Marstek are all selling plug-in batteries with a P1-meter. No special assembly required. Everybody can do it. And if you want to have more power several batteries can be connected (HomeWizard can connect up to 4 batteries), also each battery can be pluged in a circuit providing more dan 3200W export power.

You missed the most important thing, it has LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries. Much safer and longer lasting than NMC

4:12 can you set the discharge power on the manual mode? or without the sensor, it will just do it at 800W ?
