Love your X modification with the cords; it could also come in handy with the inner attached, I guess.

The akto is infinitely better without the inner. I use a lightweight bivi inside instead. I hate the inner flapping in the wind.

You can use 2x10mm poles with the akto. It didnt seem to be having any issues, what poels were you using?
