I WAS THERE! With my father! The most impressive and emotional moment at all, ever! What a privilege… thank god!

We didn't appreciate Da Vinci painting Monalisa, we didn't see Shakespeare write Hamlet, but we did watch Pavarotti sing Nessun dorma at his peak.
blander22 (5 years ago)
Pavarotti singing “Nessun dorma” has to be considered one of the greatest artistic expressions ever performed or recorded in human history.

The look on his face after hitting that last note and he realizes he has become one with the music. Priceless.

The face at the end of someone that knows they've just pulled off one of the best performances of all time - absolutely sensational

Honestly, as an opera lover, I wonder if anything will ever be sung so well ever again

This is what happens when you're both born gifted AND spend your whole life mastering that gift.

You don't have to be an opera fan to appreciate how magnificent his voice was.

He sang this song 100s of times but his reaction to the last note made me believe he knew he finally perfected it

This is what music is supposed to do. I don’t understand the words but the emotion which it brings is incredible. No other song makes me feel as emotional, as fully aware as this song. I just can’t describe it.

I played this for my father when he died. It was his favorite song. It reminded him of his father, who he missed. Now it reminds me of mine, who I miss.

He hit that last note like it owed him money.

I vote this be entered as a wonder of The World.

That's like the deadlift world record of singing. The power is unmatched.

That ending is seriously a massive dose of euphoria. Every. Single. Time.

This song has ruined my life. Women can no longer satisfy me. I only climax to Nessun Dorma now. There is no longer love, there is only Pavarotti
JerryRW3750 (2 months ago)
Most opera singers help you feel an emotion when they sing. Pavarotti was the only one to help you feel what he felt when he sang.
