Hi, I’m Tiger and welcome to my channel.
I come from Sweden and my biggest passion in life is eating and cooking food. I attended culinary school for three years and fell in love instantly with the world of food. During school and after I worked as a fine dining chef in my city at several great restaurants. I recently put my job on hold as a chef because I felt the urge to explore the vast food universe out there and I intend to share it with the world!

Hello everyone.
As all of you know, the current state of the world is quite complicated due to the corona virus. Since my channel is about travel and food, that seriously complicates doing video production. 🎥
During a time like this, I have to stay put and wait out the virus, I am currently in Taiwan right now. There will be two videos coming out from Malaysia so stay tuned for those. 😍

When I was in Vietnam, 1966-67, the banh mi kept me alive and well fed, since I was on an account for food. I had a banh mi cart near my apartment building and which gave you a choice of 3 different choices, and the most popular. On pay day, I'd treat myself to one of the Vietnamese French style ones, and probably way better than most French restaurants in France; at least it tasted great! :) I also liked the Seafood restaurants and one called Hai Cua which if you could finish the two crabs they served, you could get another crab if you wanted it :)From the crab/cua restaurants, I experienced the simple salt/pepper lime juice dip and can't eat shrimp or crab now without it :)

I'm kinda impressed that you actually attempted to pronounce it as "bánh mì" in southern Vietnamese accent instead of "bang me" like most foreigners do. Thank you.

Good job Bud! I am Vietnamese from Washington DC and I definitely agree with you that Vietnamese bánh mì and foods are extremely flavorful and have a lot of dimensions to them. Good luck and enjoy with your new food adventures and stay safe!
