theleeoverstreet I ACCIDENTALLY GOT 7,200 SUBSCRIBERS! I mean, it's just my personal channel. You don't even know me. I never bothered to upload a profile picture. I created it years ago to upload things I found interesting: old VHS recordings of comedy, politics, and science... Home videos from the 1980's to now... Other randomness... But some videos proved so popular that viewers subscribed. AND THEY KEPT SUBSCRIBING. I know that my Barack Obama videos drove a lot of this (check him out lately ‪@ObamaFoundation‬ ), including one I shot myself. Comedians from the past brought in more. But here we are. AND I CAN'T MONETIZE IT AT ALL! A little thing that rhymes with schmopyright prevents that. By the way, I'm sorry this isn't a "How to Get More Subscribers" tutorial. Or a makeup tutorial... So NOW WHAT? Just roll with it? Pretend it doesn't matter and upload whatever I like? But this is kind of a lot of people to just upload another random video of my grandmother in the 80's or my college radio show in the 90's. Do I create another channel that I CAN monetize? A reaction channel? A retro nostalgia channel? A politics channel? What do people like? What do YOU like? We all know as soon as I TRY to get thousands of new subscribers, I'll get 12. LOL! Ah, well, hello subscribers and future subscribers. I'll figure something out. :-) (5 years ago)

theleeoverstreet So happy to see this video get a quarter million views! Obama's nomination acceptance speech in 2008 was a beautiful statement of foundational Democratic principals. Anyone running for office should study it, and every voter should be inspired by it. 🇺🇲😃👍 (6 years ago)

theleeoverstreet If you haven't watched this comedy special that just hit 10,000+ views, do yourself a favor and watch. Both Whoopi and Billy are friggin' hilarious. It still gives me belly laughs and tears, which is why I kept it 30 years! Over 2,000 subscribers lately, and I realize it's due to fun stuff like this. Although, everyone loves old VHS tapes of my grandmother, right? Oh, and I recently found several episodes of Michael Moore's 1994 NBC series "TV Nation," so look for that soon. And a cousin's 2019 wedding. This YouTube channel has no point. LOL! (7 years ago)

theleeoverstreet This classic 80's bit of pay cable comedy hit 50,000 views! No surprise, given the list of talent. I have more such tapes to upload in the near future, after I turn my attention to some family nostalgia. ;-) (7 years ago)

Notice how everyone in the crowd has American flags, not Obama flags. That’s what it’s like to not be in a cult

I wish all Republicans were like McCain. He actually had respect for his opponent and put his country over his party

The last time a lot of us felt proud to be Americans.

The amount of respect McCain had for Obama is unreal.
anthonycampos8057 (8 years ago)
This was back when the people actually liked the person they elected.
DanT90 (7 years ago)
I’m a democrat but boy, John McCain is a good, honest and true gentleman.

Only american flags, thats what united our country, now we stand divided between biden and trump. We never shouldve had flags for either side in the first place
OhPunky (5 years ago)
I am and was for Obama, but I have to commend McCain’s speech for not bad mouthing Obama and giving him respect.
Kpop-eye-f7t (5 years ago)
No Confederate (traitors) flags, no partisan flags just the AMERICAN flag. Back when America wasn't so divided.

McCain is a true American hero. The man took defeat with grace and continued to serve his country.

They don’t make them like McCain anymore.

And Trump says.....”we are going to the Supreme Court. We won, it’s obvious we won”
jackcook5673 (6 years ago)
I find it interesting how the last two republican candidates Romney and McCain were/are two of Trumps biggest critics. It just shows how the party has fallen

I'll never get tired of watching this.
