Love seeing games from the 70's, I grew up during this time. Back before football was poisoned by money.

Historic game in many facets. The only matchup of Madden vs. Landry, Blanda's last touchdown pass, the first ever meeting between the Cowboys and Raiders, and the only Stabler vs. Staubach matchup. What a game!

Fun fact: This was the first-ever matchup between these two teams

This gets infinity likes for Marvin Gaye singing the National Anthem alone.

If one doesn’t respect the past NFL games, how can one be a true fan... Shame on the naive nayser! Thank You Homer for the classics!

Imagine tuning into a random NFL game and you get to see Marvin Gaye sing the national anthem

This is a memorable game for me. I recall watching this game and the excitement I felt when George Blanda went in and threw his touchdown pass.

I've never seen the broadcast before because I was AT this game, a birthday treat from my folks. And to see my dude Blanda with a TD pass. It was a total thrill. Throw in that at least 25 NFL Hall of Famers were in the building and on the field, Marvin Gaye singing the national anthem, James Garner and two Baseball HOFers in Fingers and Jackson. My goodness what a night.

Wow, talk about a field full of legends...and this had to have been the only game that Stabler, Blanda and Lamonica all put time in at quarterback.

The nfl was so much better under Rozelle than Goodell. Thanks for posting...
